Owners of colonial home in Ashburn area inherited an old pressure treated (painted in brown color) deck and a non-working hot tub. The homeowner no longer wished to have these multi level decks and did not want to upkeep it.
Once completed building an 14’x 25’ addition, we have proposed and then executed building a large techno stone patio for back yard. In order to make this happen, we needed to bring in couple of truck of dirt to build up, place underground PVC drain system to allow no water puddling in new patio area. Underground electrical needed to be in placed as well.
Then we have poured in footing for new short retaining wall with techno style stones. All walls have lighting inside, and all columns had top lights. This wall created a very nice transition between backyard and patio area.
The main event was to create a water feature that could be viewed from sunroom & family room. This water feature in-ground insulated plumbing and runs up the back wall with interior lighting inside on pond.
Customer has received their goal of no maintaince patio and get to hold their son’s wedding reception at their new back yard.
