Small rambler in falls church, va with a very old and dysfunctional set up. The back wall contained a window and door to the backyard, the entire kitchen was just contained in two small walls. The design team went to work and took the wall down between the kitchen and the dining room, converted the dining room window into a French door to the back yard and eliminated the kitchen back door and the window and replaced it with a large bay window with a sink and dishwasher and cabinetry placed under the bay window. Hardwood floors got installed in the kitchen interlocked into existing hardwood floor of the dining room. Now the kitchen is gorgeous and big with a semi-circle center island for seating and entertaining purposes.
