Living your dream in your estate home in your golden year. This couple wanted to maximize their ability to enjoy their custom home they built 12 years ago in a suburb of Nokesville, VA.
Their vision of how to use their master bathroom suite and adjacent closet space have changed over the years of their stay.
They wanted a direct access from the master bathroom into their closet, this was not possible as there was a set of spiral staircases that blocked the wall. The master closet was two stories connected by an interior staircase. We have demolished this spiral stair and moved the bathroom wall by a foot into the closet, then build a wraparound stair allowing access to upper level closet space. Then, we installed wood flooring to continue the bedroom and adjacent hallway floor into closet space.
The entire bathroom was gutted, redesigned and now have a new state of the art whirlpool tub which was placed under a new Arch picture window facing the scenery side yard. The tub was decked in solid marble slab and surrounded with matching wood paneling as what was used for custom vanities.
All plumbing was moved to create an L-shape vanity space and make up area with hidden mirrors behind hanging arts.
A large multiple functional shower with custom doors and floor to ceiling marbles was placed on the south side of this bathroom, as a closed water closet area was designated on the left end.
Use large scale marble tile floors with decorative accent tiles, crown, chair rail and very fancy high-end hardware has made this master suite a serene place for her to retire in. the cream and gold are classic and timeless which both sign of rich and luxurious.
She loves spending every minute of her day in this heavenly spa look master bath suite.
