A large kitchen in a townhouse is transformed into a large kitchen, breakfast
and entertainment area for this busy family. They wanted an update and they
wanted better use of the space they had. Our design brought them more space
in the form of more and larger cabinetry, two eating areas, the peninsula and
the entertainment center table, and their very own coffee bar and serving center
where their old pantry had been. The entertainment center is like a beautiful
piece of furniture, with textured glass doors, bookcases and a space for their
flat panel TV. The homeowners are amazed that they have this much space with
so much cabinetry, but it works better than they imagined. We even tiled the
floor with porcelain tile that picks up the tones in the cherry wood flooring
that they have throughout the house, as well as the cherry wood cabinetry. |
