This small townhouse kitchen did not make the best use of its space. There was
an eat in table in the corner when you entered, that took up a lot of wall space.
We utilized this corner for cabinetry, and created an island with seating instead.
With the island and the additional storage space, the room holds more and is
also more spacious. The cabinetry also did not reach the full height of the
ceiling, so we removed soffits to allow for the larger top cabinets, increasing
the storage accordingly. The homeowners chose the rose colored palette, and
we installed a matching quartz composite counter top that is stain and burn
resistant. We also installed a microwave above the stove so they would have
maximum counter space. |
