This large home had a modest size builder's grade master bath that the couple wanted to enlarge to match the scale and look of the rest of their home, which we were also upgrading. We bumped out the wall to enlarge the length of the space, and enlarged the shower. We also installed dual oversized cherry vanities so they would each have their private space for storage and grooming. We replaced the plain builder's white tile with upgraded ceramic limestone tile, and granite vanity tops, as well as porcelain undermount sinks, and body sprays in the shower. We installed a private toilet closet, with a decorative door that matches the replacement doors in the rest of the house, and is an upgrade, and also creates space between the vanities. We replaced the tub with a modern Jacuzzi corner style, and tiled the backsplash higher up the wall to give it a more luxurious appearance.
