This
small master bath was original to this 1960's era home and needed to be enlarged
and updated to accomodate the couple. To do this, we incorporated space from
a small closet into the bath, moving and resetting the wall and door entering
the bath, to be more conveniently located within the room. We then enlarged
the shower area and enclosed it with floor to ceiling tile and a frameless
shower door, making it feel larger. We also replaced the dated sink with an
efficient large vanity cabinet with granite countertops and a large mirror,
giving the couple plenty of space for their personal effects. We topped it
off with a fill tile floor, which is bright and easy to keep clean. The commode
area is off to the side, keeping it private from other areas. All fixtures
are water saving and up to date, including the shower with hand spray.
