Excavations for footings for new addition and front porches

This addition was a major transformation to this aging home with an unmatched addition on the back. Being located in the exclusive neighborhood of Great Falls, the homeowners wanted a suitable upgrade to their aging home, and something that tied the home together. This involved extensive work to the existing facade, as well as the addition, which nearly doubled the living space, as well as excavations of the entire front hill to create the terraced formal entry to the home. New porches were added across the front, and the entire old addition was refaced to match the brick of the original home, and the stone of the new portico. The garage was expanded from one to two cars, we added an office next to it, and above a guest suite for visiting family. We remodeled the kitchen in the existing wing, and added a new expanded master bath upstairs utilizing part of the old home and part of the new addition.
