Before:

Second story addition and whole house remodel with raising ceiling heights on lower level.

This project is now finished, and what a difference! This house is situated on a corner lot, allowing us to expand it to the rear as well as add another level for more spacious bedrooms and baths upstairs. We also preserved the mature trees so it looks like it belongs on this nicely landscaped lot. The newly remodeled house has a new brick front, bright open foyer with new arched window and elegant chandelier, as well as column supports, hardwood floors throughout the main level and portions of the second level, two new fireplaces, brand new spacious kitchen with granite countertops and large island with self-venting cooktop, and all stainless steel appliances. Outside there is a new two car garage, and full concrete driveway.
The exterior is completely changed, with a new brick front, rear addition, new two car garage, concrete pad and rear stairs. The main level is now covered in hardwood floor and opened up with the open foyer, large bright rooms with two fireplaces and the new kitchen with granite countertops, hardwood cabinets and stainless steel appliances.
Upstairs, the master bedroom and bathroom are spacious and bright, while still maintaining privacy.
The upstairs includes three additional bedrooms, including one with its own full bath and two with a shared full bath (below left), with updated fixtures including sunflower shower heads. All have large windows and closets. The upstairs foyer is hardwood, as are the stairs and bannisters.
The lower level is now bright and comfortable with recessed lighting, drywall and carpeting, new windows, new tiled full bath, and tiles storage area. The facilities are also new: furnace, air conditioners and water heater.
The lower stairs are partially enclosed to help divide the lower rooms of the basement.
Below you can see the house just as we started the renovation. We choose houses with good structure to remodel and build upon. Here you see the main level on the first row, and the basement on the lower row. Compare with the photos above to see the amazing changes!
