These homeowners waited a long time to get their luxury master bath, which had been a very small few foot square toilet, sink and tiny shower. They had the space over the garage, as well as some from an adjoining bedroom vacated by a grown child, that did not need to be as large for use as a guest bedroom. We took several feet from this room, as well as pushed out into the space over the garage, adding supports for the weight of the tile and framing we were adding. We expanded the bath to several times larger, adding a full double shower with bench and three separate shower heads, double undermount porcelain sinks in lots of cabinetry for storage they never dreamed they'd have space for. We added a linen closet as well, and a heated floor for extra comfort. We installed a larger window for more natural light. The exterior matches up with the theme of the home, and conceals a gem of a large master bath. |
